History of the Medical Institute,Osh State University,at present university offers Medicine courses in English Medium for International Students

About reorganisation of the Osh State Pedagogical Institute to Osh State University.Considering necessity of acceptance of additional
measures on Socio-economic and to cultural development of the south of the Republic Kyrgyzstan,increasing requirements of this region
for the preparation of highly qualified specialists and the scientific staff, I decide:
1. To reorganise the Osh State Pedagogical Institute to the Osh State University.
2. To the government of Republic of Kyrgyzstan,till 1st july 1992,solve organisational and financial
questions in relation with reorganisation of Osh State Pedagogical Institute to Osh State University

Medical Faculty,OshSU was opened in relation with reorganisation of Osh State Pedagogical Institute to Osh State University by the decree of
the President,Republic of Kyrgyzstan.No.UP.202 from 17/06/1992 and on the basis of the order of the Ministry of Education and Science.No 20/4
from Ministry of Health No.324 from 17/11/1992.Professor Dr.Jeenbaev J.J. MD.Ph.D served as first dean of the faculty from 1993 to 1998.and
Professor Dr.Risaliev MD,Ph.D. was dean of the faculty from 1998 to 2001.
In 2005 Medical Faculty was reorganised into Medical Institute with General Medicine and Pediatrics faculties.Prof.Dr.Juldubaev Y.J. MD,Ph.D
served as first Director of the Medical Institute.At present time,Professor Dr.Tulekeev MD,Ph.D. is serving as Director of the Institute.
